Jewel of the Forest

 

On Duralar double sided film so it's actually drawn on both sides which creates intense colors and vivid contrast. I used Caran D'Ache Luminance colored pencils. The size is just 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" (Artist Trading Card). The arrival of Trilliums announce the beginning of spring. It's the middle of winter so I'm working from the photos I took last year.
