Just an Old Fashioned Love Song

From line drawing rough draft to the colored pencil drawing (some call them paintings in their finished state).  This is a railing in a stairwell at Timberline Lodge that caught my attention.  The final piece was drawn on 9" x 12" Stratmore Artagain coal black paper using Caran D'Ache Luminance colored pencils.  It was a LOT of fun to work on.  Click on it to view it in a larger format.
