Watercolor
I went to the store to buy my mom a Mother's Day card. As seems to be more the usual I was disappointed with the selection. The inscriptions are excessively sappy and although I love my mom to death I'd never say what was printed inside the cards because that's just not the language I use in every day life. So I went home and began working on this image. I originally intended to include the lush green leaves behind the flowers but found I really liked the simplicity at this point and stopped. I had it printed on cardstock and sent it to my mom. She thought it was awesome. Mission accomplished.
