I didn't have time to add color on site but here it is finished.  Pen and ink and watercolor.

Our little band of plein air sketchers worked at Means Nursery in Scappoose this week. We only had two hours to work on site. I finished the drawing portion and had to add color later. From inside the retail greenhouse.

Homeward Bound

The spring salmon are running. It's fascinating to watch them pass through the fish ladders at Bonneville Dam which brings me back to something I've wanted to do for a while. It's quite challenging to capture them on paper. More to come later.
