To the right of the front door you are greeted by a carved newell and an inviting wood staircase leading upstairs. A simple phone camera picture but you get the idea for this page.
A drawing for a wedding invitation. Caran D'Ache Luminance colored pencils on Dura-lar matte film.
<< The prototype: The invitation itself is a complicated design so it has to be printed, trimmed, folded, then glued together. Inside has a matching response card. Outside has a matching sticker to hold it closed.
Drop by my solo show through the month of November 2016. Walk in the left side of the store and you'll see my work along the wall. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy!
I spent hours standing in the stairwells drawing at Timberline. I took hundreds of reference photos to make sure I got the details right. Pictured is one of my drawings in progress. I have had more fun working on this project than any other I can recall.
I can't begin to express how much I have enjoyed working on these drawings. Thanks so much for watching the progress. It's official, the project is active on Kickstarter. Learn how it came to be, see the progress and yes, it will be shipped in time for the holidays. After this, look for it in local gift shops.
