As you walk in to the lodge...

To the right of the front door you are greeted by a carved newell and an inviting wood staircase leading upstairs.  A simple phone camera picture but you get the idea for this page.

Another drawing

A drawing for a wedding invitation.
Caran D'Ache Luminance colored pencils on Dura-lar matte film.

<< The prototype:  The invitation itself is a complicated design so it has to be printed, trimmed, folded, then glued together.  Inside has a matching response card.  Outside has a matching sticker to hold it closed.

Another page complete

I spent hours standing in the stairwells drawing at Timberline.  I took hundreds of reference photos to make sure I got the details right.  Pictured is one of my drawings in progress.  I have had more fun working on this project than any other I can recall.

Kickstarter campaign: Timberline adult coloring book

I can't begin to express how much I have enjoyed working on these drawings.  Thanks so much for watching the progress. It's official, the project is active on Kickstarter.  Learn how it came to be, see the progress and yes, it will be shipped in time for the holidays.  After this, look for it in local gift shops.

Update to my new (really fun!!) project

Update to a previous post.
Scroll down to see how it began (July 19th).

I stood in the stairwells of Timberline for hours drawing the newels.  I sat drawing all over the lodge capturing the unique features on paper.  It has been a tremendous experience.

Coloring book almost finished.
